Information about La Magnanerie
Inside
The apartment is at first floor level, entering by a paved staircase onto the large wooden terrace/loggia with superb views to fully enjoy the mild spring and summer nights and the wonderful colours of autumn. The living area is open plan with fully equipped custom built kitchen, dining room and lounge. Open stairs lead upstairs to two bedrooms and bathroom. There is space in the double bedroom for a baby's cot which can be made available to you at a small fee and subject to availability. There are child gates at the top of the stairs leading onto the terrace and the bedroom level.
Living area
One two-seater settee and one three-seater settee, coffee table, occasional chair and decorative stove with bookshelves above. A Samsung smart tv with French channels so you can use your Netflix and Amazon Prime subscriptions even on vacation. Music centre. Wi-fi connection so that you can keep in touch with your friends, family and even work whilst away. Electric fire. Open staircase to upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
Kitchen area
Fully fitted purpose built kitchen with 5 ring gas hob and double oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, Belfast sink and dishwasher. Cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided. Welcome folder.
Dining area
Dining table and four chairs.
Bathroom
Large shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 1
Double bed (which will be made up on arrival with duvet and pillows), hanging space, bedside cabinets and large chest of drawers with a mirror.
Bedroom 2
Two single beds (which will be made up on arrival with duvet and pillows) and two chests of drawers.
Please note there is limited headroom in the bedrooms and bathroom on the upper floor. Mind your head on those beams!
Overall internal floor area 64m2.
Outside
Superb large terrace/ loggia with large table and six chairs and fabulous views.
Beside La Magnanerie, there is a grassy area with sun loungers, benches and a parasol which is shared with our guests at La Petite Grange. Please note that you cannot barbecue on the terrace because of the risk of fire.
A washing machine lives at the base of the stairs to La Magnanerie
Extra information
There are a selection of books, CDs, playing cards and games in addition to a welcome pack which provides information about places to visit and local events.
If you would like us to arrange flowers, wine, champagne or chocolates for you for your arrival, please let us know and we will arrange this for you at a pre-agreed price. Similarly we can book restaurants and taxis on your behalf if you struggle with French.
A cot and a high chair can also be provided at a fee of 10 euros per item per week subject to availability if booked at the time you make your reservation (if you forget then please check with us anyway in case they are still available).
Hand and bath towels, pillows, duvets and bed linen are provided as part of your holiday price on a weekly basis. Please can you make sure you bring your own beach towels as our towels cannot be taken out of the building.
Please note that we have a septic tank and therefore care has to be taken about detergents and flushing the toilet.
